PRE-FILING COUNSELING SESSION

All consumers who plan to file for bankruptcy must complete a counseling session before filing. Through our relationship with your attorney, we offer you a fast, convenient way to complete this requirement.

Through our relationship with CCCS, we offer you a fast convenient way to complete this requirement. If you wish for us to assist you in obtaining this certificate, a fee of $50.00 needs to be paid to CCCS via Debit Card or check by phone.

At the conclusion of your meeting with your attorney, CCCS will provide our office a copy of the pre-filing certificate you will need to file with the court as proof of completing this requirement

If you are sure of filing or if timing is an issue you may want to complete this counseling prior to your office visit. Or, you may complete the counseling after you have opened a file with Clark & Washington.

In emergencies we can file your case without the certficate of completion of the counseling. However the counseling must be completed within 30 days of filing.
